Pricing
Pricing depends on the intricacy of design, type and size of the wood. Once we determine your artwork, I’ll be able to select a size/type of wood to meet your budget.
Design Process
If you know what you want, great. If you don’t, no problem. I will assist in every aspect of the design whether it has been conceptualized or not. Once discussed, I will send a digital layout for approval before anything is done.
Calligraphy, murals, signage
Design steps for this type of commissioned art is equivalent to wood art but hourly rate is established prior to start.
Timeline
Please provide a 1+ week notice
However, if you need a last minute gift, don't hesitate to reach out
Wood Surfaces
All wood surfaces I burn are sustainably sourced in the USA. I commonly burn on birchwood, basswood, and maplewood that vary in shape and size.
In addition, I’ve burned tables, cutting boards, benches, corn hole boards, surfboards, barn wood, large scale signs, and earrings. Wood can be provided by customers (ex: restored lettering on 100-year-old farming tool).

Beginning in early 2021, I began working with local wood cutters and sawyers who reclaimed wood from fallen trees destroyed in the CZU Lightning Complex wildfires that burned in San Mateo and Santa Cruz counties August – December 2020. This wood, commonly redwood, walnut, oak, black acacia, and cypress, would otherwise be burned/trashed.
