Hello

My name is Helen. I am a 23-year-old coastal native, self-taught artist, and wood recycler. After starting my artistic journey in 2017 by practicing on scraps of wood in my yard to create gifts for friends and family, I realized that I could share my art with everyone. Thanks to the immense support around me, my artwork has flourished.

 

The desire to create art became an unyielding obligation to myself to explore the inner mechanism of my creative consciousness. From small burns to large scale projects, my art is a highly-personal reflection of myself.

 

My favorite part about making art is connecting with every walk of life, physically preserving memories and feelings, expressing myself, and learning from the beauty of wood that Mother Earth has gifted us. There is no way to measure the peace I discover when I create and turn a thought into a tangible art form.
